Hi my name is lee (Rodent Raiders) I’ve been pest controlling for around 40 years, wether its been North Somerset,Hampshire and now South Devon .

I started up the group Rodent raiders in February 2025.

The reason I started the Facebook group up is because people were finding it very difficult to get a shooting permission so I started it of my reputation as a pest controller and the group has continued to grow.

We have our own you tube channel Rodent raiders and now our very own website.

We offer free pest control and we cover the majority of the UK , we have pest controller in England, Scotland and Wales.

Neil Hotine

57 years old, grew up in Torquay South Devon.

I started hunting at the age of 12 going out with my uncle who had several rabbit perms dotted around South Devon. In those days night vision was not available and we used a lamp. I would operate the lamp and he would use his .22 rimfire to dispatch the quarry. He would occasionally allow me to shoot whilst he operated the lamp.

I joined the Army in 1985 at the age of 16 as a boy soldier at the Prince of Wales Depot near Crickhowell Wales. During my 23 years of service I travelled extensively for training exercises and operational tours. During my service years I did not pursue pest control as much of my time was spent in Germany.

On leaving the military I resumed my interest and passion in pest control and sought several perms in and around wiltshire where I had settled with my family.

4 years ago I separated from my then wife and moved to South Somerset where I now live alone with my 2 dogs. I struggled to find Perms in the area and kept my eye in by joining the local range. I came across the Rodent Raiders facebook page earlier this year and Joined. Within a few weeks of Joining I was given a local job for a stable with a rat problem, since then I have been given several other jobs in the Somerset and Dorset area rats and rabbit, from these I have been approached by neighbouring land owners and been given permission to shoot.

Helen is a moderator for the group and a landowner with a rat problem that was dealt with through Rodent Raiders. Over a period of time, Helen joined the administrators and moderators to provide support and guidance from a landowner perspective and provides advice and input on the organisation sideof things when required.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and has an MSc in Procurement from the University of Glamorgan and an LLM in PublicProcurement Law and Policy from the University of Nottingham School of Law.
